Let's answer some questions about your branding shoot

When and where do family shoots take place?Family shoots are available from February to early December. Bookings take place on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and some selected Sundays. Shoots take place at selected outdoor locations for either sunrise or sunset sessions. A family shoot takes approx 1-1.5 hours , depending on the number of people in the session.

What time of the day are family shoots ?A family shoot takes approximately 1-1.5 hours , depending on the number of people in the session. The following is a guideline for approximate session times: Sunrise sessions : • 7:00am - 8:30am (October - March) • 8:00am - 9:30 am (April - mid Oct) Sunset sessions: • 3:30pm -5:30pm (October - March) • 5:30pm - 7:00pm (April - mid Oct)

When should I book a family shoot?As soon as you can ! I would love to give you your preferred dates so book your discovery call as soon as you want to book a shoot. Even if's months away - we can get a date in the diary and that is one less thing for you to do!

What areas do you service within Sydney?I am based in Sydney South West in Picnic Point. For shoots within Sydney metro, your travel fee is covered within your session fee. For areas outside Sydney metro, or where session fee is not applicable, travel charges may apply. Where venue hire or location permissions are required, an additional fee may also be charged.

How many family members can be in our shoot?All our family and newborn sessions include immediate family members who live within the same household to the maximum of 6 people. If you would like additional family members in your shoot, please let us know at time of consultation. Additional family members will incur a surcharge fee.

What if it's raining or the weather is bad on our shoot day?We know that the weather can be a *little* unpredictable. In the event adverse weather conditions, we will default to our back up or reschedule date.

What do we wear in a family shoot?Deciding what to wear can be a little tricky but I'm here to help. We will chat more about what to wear in your consult call and you can also check out my ***What to wear ***page for tips on what to wear for your shoot.

When do we get to see our images from the shoot?Your Curate ordering and viewing session will be arranged within 10 days of your shoot. Our viewing sessions take place at my home in South West Sydney. However, if travel is not possible, viewing sessions will be done remotely via a Zoom consult. A sneak peek of your shoot will also be available on our Instagram and Facebook pages so ensure to follow us!

Do you require a deposit for our shoot?Your session fee, required at the time of booking, ensures a spot is held for you. Please note that this fee is non refundable.

Do you have gift vouchers for family shoots ?While we don't offer gift vouchers, we do have gift registries available for selected family shoots. We are happy to discuss a gift registry so that friends and family can contribute to your session and Simply Loved Photographic Collection. Simply let me know you would like more details at the time of your enquiry.

Are you vaccinated? What is your COVID plan?Yes.Our Covid plan involves vaccination, flexibility in scheduling as well as other measures to ensure the health and safety of our clients. For more information, please see our Covid Plan page .

Do I need to get hair and make-up done for a family shoot?For our family shoots, we suggest keeping your hair and make up simple and natural. You are welcome to arrange for your own makeup and hair however, this is not a requirement. I advise clients to ensure any hair or make up appointments are flexible in the event of rescheduling (eg adverse weather, sickness).
